Dr. Iakovos-Antonios Armaos is the Founder and Head of efrata, one of Greece’s leading strategic communications and public affairs firms. With over 25 years of experience in strategic communication, public affairs and media relations, he has advised multinational corporations, institutional organizations and political stakeholders across Europe and beyond.

His work brings together strategic practice and academic inquiry, drawing on a strong foundation in political philosophy and strategic communication.

Dr. Armaos holds a PhD in Political Philosophy from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an MSc in Communications Policy Studies from City St George’s, University of London, and a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He is the author of two books and has contributed numerous articles and opinion pieces to the public discourse. He is also a frequent commentator in television and radio, offering analysis on political communication, strategy and public affairs.

He serves on the Advisory Board of the Department of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a Lecturer in the “Humanities & Entrepreneurship” seminar at the same Department, where he designs and delivers sessions focused on strategic thinking, innovation and the intersection of humanities and business.
